Roger W. Nutt, S.T.L., S.T.D., is the Provost of Ave Maria University, where he also serves as a Professor of Theology. At Ave Maria University, he co-directs the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal. He is also a member of the Academy of Catholic Theology.
His research focuses on Christology and Sacramental Theology, and especially the Theology of St. Thomas Aquinas. These interests are reflected in the three books that he authored: Thomas Aquinas’ ‘De Unione Verbi Incarnati’ (Peeters Publishers, 2015); General Principles of Sacramental Theology (The Catholic University of America Press, 2017); and To Die is Gain: A Theological (re-)Introduction to the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick for Clergy, Laity, Caregivers, and Everyone Else (Emmaus Academic, 2022). He has translated several works, including (with Dr. Joseph G. Trabbic) Thomas Aquinas: A Historical and Philosophical Profile (The Catholic University of America Press, 2016) by Pasquale Porro. His articles and book chapters have appeared in many prestigious publications such as Nova et Vetera, Gregorianum, Louvain Studies, The Thomist, Harvard Theological Review, Angelicum, Antiphon: A Journal of Liturgical Renewal, and the Oxford Handbook of the Reception of Aquinas. Dr. Nutt is the editor-in-chief of Sapientia Press, and is co-editor of numerous volumes, including: Hope and Death: Christian Responses (Emmaus Academic, 2022); Thomas Aquinas and the Crisis of Christology (Sapientia Press of Ave Maria University, 2021); Aquinas the Biblical Theologian (Emmaus Academic, 2021); Thomas Aquinas and the Greek Fathers (Sapientia Press of Ave Maria University, 2019); and Thomism and Predestination: Principles and Disputations (Sapientia Press of Ave Maria University, 2016).

Michael Dauphinais, Ph.D., is co-director of the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal. He serves as the Fr. Matthew Lamb Professor of Catholic Theology at Ave Maria University, Ave Maria, Florida and holds degrees from Duke University and the University of Notre Dame. He has co-authored with Matthew Levering Knowing the Love of Christ: An Introduction to the Theology of Thomas Aquinas and Holy People, Holy Land: A Theological Introduction to the Bible. His newly co-authored book Wisdom from the Word: Biblical Answers to Ten Questions about Catholicism was published by Word on Fire Press in the summer of 2021. He has co-edited multiple books dedicated to Thomas Aquinas and published numerous articles and chapters in books in moral, dogmatic, and biblical theology. He previously served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty throughout many of the founding years of Ave Maria University. He loves to teach C.S. Lewis, the Triune God, the Bible, seminars on the great books, and anything on Aquinas.
